Andri Fried about work & leisure
Andri Fried has been working as a consultant in the Smart Solutions department for almost a year. Due to the importance of the topic and the current demand, we have decided to reset our sails and found a sister company in the Smart Solutions sector. green4 ag now takes over the services offered in collaboration with redIT and forms another part of the beelk group.
In the employee interview you will find out what he particularly likes about his team and what the ideal work-life balance is for him. He also talks about his private passion, in which he is already vice world champion.
Andri, you are part of green4. What do you particularly like about this team?
«I particularly like the relaxed and collegial interaction with superiors and the innovative thinking in our team. Teamwork is particularly important at redIT & now green4. Everyone pulls together to achieve the goals, it’s all together!”
What do you enjoy about your role?
“What I particularly enjoy in my role is planning interesting and innovative projects and then implementing them. This is really exciting! I’m also part of a great team, which motivates me enormously.”
What does your typical day-to-day work look like? Is there such a thing as “classic”?
«There is no classic style in my everyday work because every day is different. My area of activity is diverse. Every day offers new challenges, I never get bored. I particularly appreciate that, thanks to the flexitime, I always come to the office well-rested and full of energy. That’s the ideal work-life balance for me!”
Do you have any wishes for your professional future?
«For my future, I hope that I can continue to develop professionally and personally, master a variety of challenges and constantly learn new things, because this motivates me. I’m excited to see what the next few years will bring.”
What do you do outside of work?
«In my free time I like to bike and sail. For me, the two activities are the optimal balance to my everyday work, to clear my head and relax.”
You have already been on the podium several times at the World Sailing Championships, how did these successes come about?
“Originally my cousin took me sailing in 2010. My euphoria was huge, as was my ambition grabbed me straight away because I'm having a lot of fun! And then one thing led to another... 😉 In my opinion, you need a good sense, brains and athleticism. I am now even a trainer and train juniors.
How do hobby and job reconcile?
«I am extremely grateful to redIT for the flexible working hours. This flexibility is very helpful, because it allows me to make optimal use of the weather for my weekly training. I really appreciate this freedom!»
