From traditional telephony to an integrated solution with Microsoft Teams telephony!

With the introduction of Microsoft Teams telephony, Gregor Furrer & Partner Dienstleistungs AG has modernized and unified its communication solution. The goal was to replace the existing telephony solution with a future-proof, flexible platform and to upgrade the DECT devices in the warehouse.

Together with redIT, Microsoft Teams telephony was implemented, existing number blocks were migrated to Sunrise, and new, Teams-enabled DECT devices were deployed in the warehouse. The project was complemented by targeted training for key users to ensure a smooth transition into daily operations.

THE PROJECT

Gregor Furrer & Partner has taken the step towards modern corporate communications, replacing its traditional telephone system with Microsoft Teams telephony. Why did you decide to replace your telephone system with Microsoft Teams telephony?

Claudio Gehrig: "Our primary goal was to focus more on the advantages of Microsoft Teams and the capabilities of Microsoft, in order to map as many processes and the main communication as possible in one central tool."

Which requirements were particularly important to you?

Claudio Gehrig: "The existing structure of the telephone exchange or ring circuit should continue to be replicated in the same way, as it represents a central element for our back office."
