redIT on the Wildspitz
After work, 18 motivated redITers met up to climb the Wildspitz together. While four colleagues hopped on their bikes, the others set off on foot. For the fastest, it took less than an hour to get from the Zuger Alpli to the summit - despite the wet paths. Once at the top, everyone toasted the successful hike. The weather, however, showed its grey side: instead of the usual panoramic view of Zug, thick fog awaited us. But a real redITer is not impressed by this: "Anyone can do it when the weather is nice!" as one colleague aptly put it.
As a reward, there was a delicious 3-course meal: a creamy vegetable soup, followed by tender roast beef with potato gratin and vegetables and, as a sweet finish, a delicious caramel cream. The mood was great - lively conversations and the beautiful interior of the Wildspitz mountain inn created a relaxed atmosphere. After dinner, we set off on the way back with flashlights and hiking sticks. But despite our headlamps, we were unable to find the actual hiking trail and so we set off cross-country in the dark - good shoes were essential. Thanks to our guides André and Stefan, we arrived safely in the valley.
A big thank you to everyone who was there! We are already looking forward to next year.
