As part of Microsoft Teams, Microsoft now offers Teams calling, as a successor solution to Skype for Business. Whether with other employees or external contacts, there is the possibility to make calls with the desktop or mobile app, thanks to the cloud connection to the Microsoft 365 Cloud. Teams calling already offers familiar functions from the physical telephone system and is also supplemented by various new and constantly expanded functions.

Integration with Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams creates a central place for teamwork in Office 365. Now telephony is also integrated into this application. Data exchange, notifications, chats, video conferences and calling can now all be handled via a central platform. With the integration of Microsoft Teams, customization options can be made according to needs and, accordingly, an individual setup is possible.

The Virtual PBX, Microsoft Teams calling, is integrated on the Microsoft 365 Cloud and completely replaces a physical PBX.

Since Muster GmbH already uses Microsoft 365 and works with Teams, they are considering upgrading Teams further using telephony functionalities.
