New redIT headquarters – project takes shape

Living and working – close to the center between Zug and Baar at the new redIT headquarters

Since the fall of 2021, the village center of Inwil has been growing with the start of construction for the superstructure of nine houses. The project is based on the neighborhood design plan from 2013 and the corresponding development plan. This was approved by the cantonal construction department at the end of January 2019 after the usual conditions and adjustments. Of the nine new buildings, four are strictly residential, four are mixed-use, and one is designed as an office building, the new redIT headquarters, with an apartment inside. A total of 53 apartments and 1700 square meters of commercial use are planned.

Requirements of the local protection zone

The nine buildings are divided into three groups, which differ in terms of shapes and colors. On the one hand, this complies with the requirements of the local protection zone, and on the other hand, it is a reference to the small-scale surroundings. In particular, the neighboring house “Alte Mühle”, which is worthy of protection and dates back to the late 15th century and has been the headquarters of the beelk group since 2008, should nevertheless continue to be shown to advantage.
