25 years ago named Zug’s IT innovator
On November 30, 1996, the company Wickart, Kleeb + Partner AG (today redIT) was chosen as the winner for the Innovation Award of the Canton of Zug.
“The Innovation Award is proof that today ideas from those who think and act differently are recognized,” said Andreas Kleeb in the newspaper report at the time.
Specifically, the development of the Single Point of Contact SPOC® IT service concept was nominated. SPOC is a lifecycle product for major customers that encompassed the areas of purchasing, installation, operation and disposal, and for the first time separated goods trading from services. As early as 1996, Wickart, Kleeb + Partner AG and today’s redIT were among the most important IT partners in German-speaking Switzerland.
The Innovation Award aims to support the efforts of companies that create new jobs or maintain existing jobs on the basis of economically, socially and ecologically meaningful and innovative services or products. It is intended to express that it is an important concern of the authorities in the Canton of Zug to promote innovative companies and thus to maintain the attractiveness of Zug as a business location.
Today, Andreas Kleeb is one of the members of the jury that proposes the annual prize winner to the cantonal government of Zug.
