ROBO STUDIO is satisfied with the availability of the computing power via Amazon Web Services. With this setup, the company did not have to invest in additional hardware, most of which is not used, but can obtain additional computing power from the cloud as needed. However, the company was dissatisfied with the time until the servers were available, the Amazon licensing model and the billing process and was looking for a solution that was optimal for their needs.
The company previously used the Amazon AWS service, but has now switched to Microsoft with redIT, as more attractive licensing models are available for Azure and the virtual servers can be started up and used immediately. Mario Rothenbühler is also convinced of the new solution when it comes to billing: “I conveniently pay for what we actually needed, per minute, by the monthly invoice.”
