Bike to work: We did it! – July 2024
Our bike-to-work challenge is over and we are very proud! We pedalled, sweated and, above all, hoped that we would make it to the office or home before the rain. Because the weather did not want to play along this year. The complete rain gear was therefore already the everyday uniform of all participants. Nevertheless, the end result is impressive: In total, our 16 dedicated redITlers have achieved incredible 5123 km All we can say is: Great performance! 💥👏
Quick fact check:
🛣️ 5123 kilometers traveled
🗓️ 429 cycling days
🌍 738 kilograms of CO₂ saved
🚴♂️ 80% bicycle share across the entire redIT
This year, the participants experienced a lot again: from incorrect weather forecasts and unexpected rain showers to breathtaking views, animal traffic jams in the countryside and dirty rides through the forest - everything was there, even a few rays of sunshine. Take a look at the highlights of the last two months! 📸👇

Bike to work: We are part of it! – May 2024
We are ready to step on the gas! 🚀 The bike to work challenge started at the beginning of May and we are pedaling hard to collect kilometers. 💪 For the third year in a row we are fully motivated and conquering the streets with our bikes. This year, 16 redITlers, divided into four teams, are taking on the challenge and getting on their bikes on as many working days as possible. It doesn't matter at all whether the journey to work is only a few kilometers long or a longer route. This year, employees who cover over 20km by bike are taking part. So we're excited to see how many kilometers we'll add up this year.🚴♂️ We can already reveal one thing: So far it's looking very good, despite the moody weather. Of course, the competition between teams encourages individuals to unpack their bikes even in bad weather. But ultimately it's a great campaign that also promotes team spirit.
We as redIT naturally support our redITlers in such campaigns and are happy to promote team spirit, fitness and sustainable mobility. 🌟 The health and well-being of our employees is important to us and taking part in the bike to work challenge offers a great opportunity to promote these aspects.
